What does a pool inspection report cover?
Start by distinguishing a pool barrier safety assessment from an equipment or condition inspection. A barrier assessment addresses the applicable safety requirements. A condition inspection may cover the pool shell or equipment under a separate scope. Booking one does not automatically include the other.
Tell the provider where the property is
Pool rules and certificate processes depend on the jurisdiction. Explain the state or territory, property type and whether the enquiry concerns a sale, tenancy, existing notice or routine assessment. Ask the provider to identify the applicable requirements and who can issue any required certificate.

Is a general pool condition report a compliance certificate?
No. Confirm the inspection’s purpose and the provider’s authority. Equipment condition and statutory barrier certification are different deliverables.
Does a compliant pool stay compliant indefinitely?
Continue maintaining the barriers and access arrangements. Changes, damage or a gate that stops closing correctly need attention; a past report is not a substitute for current maintenance.
